Chamber and Orchestral Concerts 

From October 2012 most of our evening concerts will begin at 19.00. 

The School of Music stages Cardiff's most varied series of evening concerts between October and May each year. And there will be wonderful performances to enjoy in 2012-13! Highlights will include concerts given by the University's Resident Ensemble - The Carducci Quartet - and an exciting range of recitals as well as concerts by the University's orchestras and choirs.

The programme of evening events is complemented by the Lunchtime Concerts organised by the student Music Society (Thursdays at 13.10).

The principal concert venue is the University Concert Hall on Corbett Road. The entrance is via the octagonal Concert Foyer next to Aberdare Hall (to the left of the main Music building). The Hall has a licensed bar where you can relax and have a cup of coffee, a snack or a drink with friends before the concert from 18.30, after the event and in the interval.  For details of access for disabled visitors, please visit our How to Find Us page.
